“Feliz 2009!! que será sin duda mejor que 2008, lo presiento… será el año de The Killers, el año que Yohei vino a España, y que consiguió su sueño: trabajar cerca de los aviones, el año que Sara fue a la BBC y Nacho entró en el Santander, y quién sabe! el año que en plena crisis nos tocó la lotería del niño y nos fuimos de viaje a… Japón! El año que el estudiantes ganó… (qué gana el estudiantes???), el año del mensaje que tanto costó escribir, como dice Paula, “el año de la gente normal, porque 2008 fue el de la gente rara”. Pero 2009 será distinto. Ganaremos el mundial!!! (uy, no…) jajajaja Será un gran año. Y como en 2007, y en 2008, en 2009 también nos lo contaremos en emails, vale??”
Nacho y yo siempre nos escribimos emails larguísimos, creo que podríamos publicar la historia de nuestras vidas a través de ellos. Este que le escrito hoy refleja cómo empezamos siempre un año, con todas nuestras ilusiones y mucha energía. Aquí queda para que dentro de unos meses veamos cómo los sueños se cumplen.

“Happy 2009!! is gonna be better than 2008, I have this feeling… is gonna be the year of The Killers, the year that Yohei came to Spain, and got his dream: to work close to airplanes, the year that Sara went to BBC and Nacho was recruited in Santander, and… maybe the year that in the middle of the crisis we won the lotery, and we went on holidays to… Japan! The year that “El estudiantes” won… (something, what?), the year of the difficult message that took months to write, and as Paula says “the year of the normal people because 2008 was the year of the weird people”. But 2009 is gonna be different. We will win the World Cup!! hahaha (ups, I think is not this year…) hahaha Is gonna be a great year. And as in 2007, and in 2008, in 2009 we will send many emails, ok??”
Nacho and me are always writing each other very long emails, I think we could publish the story of our lives with the emails we saved. This that I wrote today is about how to start a new year, with our expectations and so much energy. I write it here, and in some months we will see how our dreams can become real.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY, AND LET YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!
Hotel del amor navideño

Creo que todavía no os he hablado de los hoteles del amorrrrr!! Los hay de todas las temáticas imaginables, los japoneses son un poco pervertidillos en eso, jeje. Son hoteles en los que puedes alquilar habitaciones por horas. Son bastante comunes entre las parejas de jóvenes japoneses. Algunos tienen todo tipo de vestimentas… Este que me encontré en el centro de Osaka es de temática Navideña. La Navidad japonesa es para las parejas, y según me han contado, el chico regala a la chica una noche en una buena habitación. Asique me imagino que este hotel estará al 100% en estas fechas. Por cierto, con villancicos en la calle en pleno agosto… qué cracks!! 
I have to tell you about Love Hotels in Japan. There are many with diferent themes, I think japanese are a bit perverted with this things!! haha. Love Hotels are hotels where you can pay for a room for some hours. Are very common between young couples. Some of them have all kind of stuff to wear… I saw this one in the center of Osaka, the theme is Christmas! Japanese Christmas is for couples, and as I heard, the guy´s present for the girl is a night in a good room. I can imagine this hotel is 100% now. In the video you can listen the Christmas carols on the street, they are the fucking masters!! haha Yohei, can you tell us something more about this hotels???

Cuenta una leyenda china que un hilo rojo invisible conecta a aquellos que están destinados a encontrarse,

La nariz del Daibutsu

He aquí una de las figuras de bronce de Buda más grande del mundo. Es el Daibutsu del templo Todaiji de Nara. Se fundió en el año 746, quién sabe cómo!! Mide 16 metros de alto, y tiene 437 toneladas de bronce, y 130 kilos de oro. Se cree que el emperador Shomu pidió que se construyera este Buda para proteger al pueblo de la viurela, porque había causado muchas muertes en Japón.
Here you can see one of the biggest Buda figures. It is the Daibutsu, in the Todaiji shrine in Nara. It was created in 746, nobody knows how!! It has 16 metres high, and 437 tones of bronze, and 130 kilos of gold. People say that Shomu emperor ordered to build it to protect the population from smallpock, that had caused many deaths in Japan.
He leído que este gran Buda perdió la cabeza en algún que otro terremoto, no me lo quiero ni imaginar, esa cabeza rodando por ahí…
I read that this big Buda lost his hed in some earthquake, I can´t imagine, this head around…
Al lado del buda estaba esta columna de madera. Dicen que si consigues pasar por ese agujero, que tiene el tamaño de uno de los orificios nasales del Daibutsu, tendrás sabiduría. Sólo los niños lo consiguen.
Close to the buda there was a wood column with a hole. People say if you get to cross throw the hole, you will have wisdom. It has the size of one of the hole of Buda´s nose. Only children can do it.
Los guardianes del Daibutsu

Antes de enseñaros al gran buda, os tengo que enseñar estos dos guardianes Nio, que protegen al buda desde la puerta principal del templo. Hay que pasar esta puerta, que se llama Nandai - mon, para llegar a la estructura de madera donde está el Daibutsu. Son dos figuras de madera talladas en maderas lujosas. Megumi me contó algo sobre los ojos y la boca de estas figuras pero… se me ha olvidado!

Este templo está en Nara, la que fuera capital de Japón. Es una ciudad pequeña y tranquila, pero que tiene ocho lugares declarados Patrimonio Mundial por la Unesco. Tiene varios sitios que visitar, el principal es este templo: Todaiji. Es la estructura de madera más grande del mundo, la verdad es que impresiona. Dentro está el Daibutsu, un buda enorme que os enseñaré mañana.
Esta figura de madera te curaba la parte del cuerpo que le tocases. Parece que a este hombre le duele una rodilla

Crazy Christmas time

En una semana he hecho el Noken, he estado en Bruselas, he trabajado mucho, he visto a Jens :D, dos cenas de Navidad… y no paro de escuchar The Killers.
In a week I´ve done Noken exam, I´ve been to Brussels, I´ve been working hard, I´ve seen Jens, I had two Christmas parties, and I can´t stop listening The Killers.
Are we human or are we dancer?

Yes, the happy - crazy german boy is here. If you go to Google Earth and look to the map of Spain you can see the biggest smile ever in the middle. That’s Jens. He came to Spain to learn our beautiful language, and as you can guess he already knows the beautiful words of our language. He loves “cojones sentences”.
At the begining I was a bit angry with him, but now is alright. I know it was not his fault. I taught him about “sin rencor”. Altough he says I am like an elephant with a very good memory for the past.
We´ve been around this weekend, with Nacho and Carlos, that also came to Madrid. It was fun. It was fun from the begining when Nacho and I went to the airport to pick up Jens. We were waiting at the exit door but Jens was not there. Half an hour later he called us from the subway. We went back there, and he was talking to a “woman”. Well, Nacho sais he is not sure about if she was a woman or not. Jens was asking for her telephone number! But she couldn´t speak english, so they had some communication problems. She told me to say Jens “please please tell him that he has to call me and I will teach him spanish”. She was very interested in Jens, but… I don´t know, I think she was a bit old for Jens, hahahahahaha Crazy you, you always surprise us!! Did you call her????
Jens is back to Salamanca now. He learnt a lot of new words this weekend, he also learnt about spanish horses. As he says, you can learn the language in the tapas bar talking to friends. So, when he arrives at school next day he is gonna say “Hace un frío de cojones”. And at the end of the lesson when the teachers orders homework he will say “ni de coña”. That´s what we taught him, and… he is crazy, he will say. But fuck! I won´t be there!
